The Covid-19 pandemic and national lockdown, that unfolded as a result, sent many aspects of life into a an almost apocalyptic frenzy. With thousands of careers and incomes lost, the death rate ever climbing and politicians floundering to respond appropriately, its difficult to see how we'll ever fully recover from this, as a society.Within all the uncertainty, there have been pockets of hope however. Communities across the country have risen to the challenges posed, by both the virus itself and the resulting lockdown. As someone ever curious about human behavior, I set out to document some of the individual experiences of people within my own local community, through this series of portraits.
